Left Chest Embroidery Guide
How big to digitize a left chest logo, and where to place it, based on standard industry sizing.

The general industry rule of thumb is a left chest logo runs 3 to 4 inches wide and up to about 3.5 inches tall — big enough to read clearly, small enough not to overwhelm the garment. Thicker fabrics like hoodies can carry a slightly larger 4" logo without looking oversized.
Placement
Measure down from the shoulder seam, not from the collar — vertical placement in the 7–9 inch range from the shoulder seam is the standard sweet spot for adult sizing. For kids' or youth apparel, scale both the size and the placement distance down proportionally.
